Richland Chambers Reservoir, impounded in 1989, is 44,752 Acres in size and boasts 330 miles of shoreline. Located about an hour south of Dallas, Richland Chambers offers fantastic fishing and boating, as well as a beautiful scenery of homes, trees and wildlife. Richland Chambers is reported to be the state's third largest Inland Lake and the largest sailing basin in Texas.

Unlike many Texas Lakes, Richland Chambers permits piers and boathouses on the waterfront and serves as a water source for Tarrant County.
